DLRT was formed by a merger of Leyland Rubber Components and Dexine Rubber Technologies, both businesses having long and impressive histories dating back to 1895. Since the merger, DLRT has invested heavily in machinery & equipment and the facility at Leyland. The latest investment being to significantly upgrade lighting in manufacturing areas, stores and offices.

Project Objectives were to improve the quality of lighting by raising light levels, provide a highly uniform distribution of light and high colour rendering. At the same time, to make high energy savings and achieve a fast payback on the investment.
